Making India proud at a young age! Lieutenant Shivangi, a great example of breaking the barriers and working hard to achieve all her dreams. A 24-year-old Lieutenant Shivangi said ‘Golden stripes and wings are all I need’, A proud moment for India to have the first woman pilot of the Indian Navy.
Women are known for their ability that not only in homes, in the corporate sector, in the sky, in the ocean even on borders, but women also have the whole capability of achieving their desired goals. For many years we have seen various examples of women managing their way of achieving their aim like; Kalpana Chawla, Mary Kom, P T. Usha, and many more. Among these inspiring examples, one example is Shivangi, who came from an agricultural background where all the adventure for her was climbing trees and jumping from heights on a construction site. Belonging to a small city Muzaffarpur in Bihar her dreams were big and to give wings to her dreams after completing her school education she took admission to B.Tech Mechanical Engineering and enrolled herself to pursue a master’s degree parallelly.
The young blood is seen as having the curiosity to try new things and be dedicated to accomplishing their task on time by all efforts. And to make her dream come true her hard work helped her to get succeed in SSC Exam and enter into Navy World. Later after enrolling in Indian Naval Academy and Air Force Academy, she learned to fly the Dornier aircraft and become the first female pilot of the Indian Navy on 2 December 2019.
These success stories are an inspiration to others but if you really want to accomplish your goals all you have to do is initiate. Don’t wait for the right time, make the right time. Practice, learn, implement and don’t get de-motivated.
